Onboarding Service and Connecting Endpoints to the Network

The Onboarding process includes the auto-provisioning of the phones for initially connected to the network. The customer should provide with a list of MAC addresses of the devices to manage in Live Platform.

The following methods can be deployed to perform this action:

AudioCodes Redirect Server (default) (see Onboarding Device Manager Service using AudioCodes Redirect Server)

■

DHCP Option 160: When configured, this method takes priority over AudioCodes Redirect Server (see DHCP Option 160)

Make sure all phones designated for auto-provisioning have a network set up to connect to either the Redirect Server or DHCP Server.

Once the phones are connected to the network, you need to login to the phone for the first time before you can perform actions (see Approving Users).
